What Data We Collect and Why
Payment Information
When you purchase access to the Bheaga Energy Calculator, your payment is processed by Stripe, a secure third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Stripe collects your name, card details, and billing email address directly. Once payment is confirmed, we store your email address alongside your calculation results in our secure database. This is so we can help you retrieve your results if you ever lose them.

Calculator Results
When you run the calculator, we store the following in our database:
- Your household type and number of children in each age group
- Your personalised weekly electricity and gas allowance figures
- The date and time the calculation was run
- The email address your results were sent to (if you chose to email them)
This data is retained so that we can assist you if you need your results retrieved at a later date. We do not use this data for marketing purposes.
Contact Form
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Email Results
If you choose to have your results emailed to you, we send that email via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a transactional email provider. Brevo processes your email address for the sole purpose of delivering that one email. Brevo’s privacy policy is available at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
Cookies and Tracking
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is anonymised and aggregated — we cannot identify you personally from it.
